Chawki Fakhoury joined Berytech in February 2023 and is currently a Cluster Officer in the QOOT Cluster.

He has worked as a warehouse manager/storekeeper for the Lebanese Red Cross national warehouse for both the emergency and disaster management departments, where he handled all the donations received by the LRC during the relief support/campaign for the victims of August 4th and in the distribution and receival of the PPE for the entirety of the EMS sectors during the COVID-19 pandemic as well as other types of equipment. Chawki has also been an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) since 2018 in the Gemmayzeh sector.

Dynamic, witty, and ambitious, Chawki is driven by sustainable change, improvement, and impact in social entrepreneurship. He gained a lot of experience and skills from working as a business development fellow for an American foundation focusing on using Biomimicry to find new business solutions and improvements.

Chawki got his bachelor’s degree in business administration, with an emphasis on finance and entrepreneurship from the American University of Beirut (AUB).

He is a dedicated employee during the day and a passionate mixologist at night. Chawki’s hobbies include camping, hiking, and learning about history and Japanese culture. The Japanese culture positively impacts him as he still reads manga and watches anime.
