It all started in 1979, at the time Lebanon was at war and food supply was running low. That is when Bechara Obegi and Frank Farage founded Al Wadi Al Akhdar. The two partners started by using the finest ingredients to make the three staples of the Lebanese Cuisine: Hummus Tahini, Foul Moudammas, and Chickpeas. With great reception by the market, innovation, and dedication, Al Wadi Al Akhdar kept expanding to offer today more than 200 unique products.
