Em el khayrat is a Lebanese family owned business that produces various kinds of cheese and other dairy food. Its main concern is to keep its authentic identity and produce a preservative free product. The manufactured goods are created using traditional, but safe, Lebanese methods to keep a taste of the old while adding a unique twist.

Em El Khayrat aims to serve their customers with high quality products while remaining natural and healthy as possible. Their team travels around various countries earning new experiences in cheese making to create new products and “Lebanise” them. Hence, the Laban, Labne, Aayran, Arishe, and local cheeses are created along with special flavored ones. Em El Khayrat star product is the aayran with its different flavors such as minted, turmeric, and olive aayran.

WHAT’S THE INNOVATION?

With trainings and courses in cheese production, Em El Khayrat extended their production line in processing yellow hard foreign cheeses, such as gouda cheese, flavored gouda, piquante cheeses, tome, yellow cheese with sundried tomatoes and so many others. Their production is traditional introducing local cheese with a twist.

Due to the economic situation in Lebanon, importing foreign cheese became too expensive. Em El Khayrat is able to produce foreign cheese locally while introducing a twist to traditional products.
