They produce and sell Limoncello and Mandarino liqueur and their product is sold under our brand “Paolina.” They proudly use high-quality natural ingredients without preservatives, artificial coloring, or flavorings.

Until recently, Limoncello was predominantly imported from Italy, the origin of this liqueur. Given the local currency devaluation, imports became expensive. Their product, Paolina Limoncello was the first local product. Given their success, others followed, with little visible presence so far.

What is the story behind the innovation?

The owner of Paolina liqueur brand was inspired to create Limoncello after a visit to South France where a friend offered her a glass of their homemade Limoncello. The unique and delicious taste sparked her curiosity and she obtained the recipe from her friend along with a bottle of the liqueur. Upon returning to Lebanon, she was captivated by Limoncello and decided to follow her passion by starting her own brand, “Paolina.”

The innovation

Paolina is the first Limoncello brand in Lebanon and offers an artisanal, homemade liqueur with a vivid yellow color. The secret recipe is made using only high-quality natural ingredients with no preservatives, artificial coloring, or flavorings. Paolina is able to offer a product that is lower in cost compared to imported products, while still maintaining its high quality. The brand is known for its appealing bottle and label design and is available at over 70 points of sale.
