Christmas spirit should be spread worldwide, so QOOT Cluster launched two activities with the Lebanese Embassy in Jordan with the coordination of its economic attaché Misses Gretta Mhanna. A Lebanese Christmas Market on the first day and a business-to-business activity on the second. The Kingdom of the Netherlands funded the mission through the Dutch Embassy in Lebanon. Twelve QOOT members, divided between food and alcohol producers, joined the mission to showcase their products while bringing the festive spirit of Beirut.

“Besides saving on additional exhibition costs and having the opportunity of international exposure, the Jordanian mission was unique due to the exceptional effort of the economic attaché who filtered the buyers with a real interest in importing Lebanese products. They were focused and detailed in their requirements, saving a lot of extra work. This is a good learning opportunity for other economic attachés to set up this type of B2B activities on a low budget.”

Fadi Iskandar, CEO of Crumble for Manufacturing & Trading.

The mission included a small Christmas Market at Intercontinental Hotel on the first evening. Around 100 persons attended the market to taste and buy the showcased Lebanese products to use in their holiday celebrations at home. QOOT members participating in this mission are healthy snacks and crackers, food preserves, alcoholic beverages, and fresh fruits & vegetables producers. The alcoholic producers included Cave Des Ours, Atibaia Winery, Chateau Cana, Wata Cider, The Three Brothers Gin, and Karam Wines. The food producers had Crumble for Manufacturing & Trading, Taqa Snacks, Delta Group, Zeit Boulos, Biomass, and Eshmoon Holistics.
